British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure
"Moving BC Forward"
This project originally began as a British Columbia Ministry of Transportation archival footage
project, documenting the transportation infrastructure improvements though out the province of
British Columbia, Canada. This show became so popular that it has now earned a spot in
the CANADA BC House at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver BC, where it will play on a constant loop for 18
hours a day. This video is also government messaging video included as a gift for visiting
officials from all over the world who may want a snapshot view of the upgrading and changes being
made to the Pacific Gateway Infrastructure. The ability to move goods quickly from ship, to railway, to
distribution, to trucks, and to the consumer will attract more business through
British Columbian ports of entry. As well this video highlights the Rapid Transit infrastructure that has
been built to move British Columbians throughout the lower mainland in an efficient and "Green" manner. The
Aerial Cinematography was accomplished using the Cineflex Camera System.
