Shot in all corners of the Province, it features current Premier Clark, Transportation Minister Mary Polak, and numerous Industry Leaders from YVR, Seaspan, CN, CP, Port Authorities of Vancouver and Prince Rupert, BC Road Builders Association, and many others.

 

The video displays how British Columbia is where Canada starts, and where trade with the Asia Pacific starts. With our economic engine fuelled with efficient transportation, the Government of BC can afford to pay for social programs such as Education and Medical Services allowing the People of BC enjoy a better life.

 

It was the feature highlight video during the 2012 UBCM (The Union of BC Municipalities) meeting.

 

CVSE: ROAD TO SAFETY

TRAINING VIDEO

 

The CVSE (Commercial Vehicle Safety Enforcement) agency called on True North Entertainment to create a recruitment and orientation video. Interviews with safety

officers, computer technicians and support staff show how the CVSE is a great place to work.

 

Viewers feel proud and inspired to work hard and advance their career with this forward thinking organisation.

 

 

RIDE TO THE FUTURE

 

This project is all about transit. It begins with detailing how fast BC Urban Centres are growing and how the Province and Stakeholders (TransLink & BC Transit) are investing in Transit Infrastructure to meet consumer travel needs while reducing green house gas emissions.

 

With animated aerials of all the current and future TransLink routes, it garners public support of transit infrastructure investment. From ‘green’ buses to SeaBus, RapidBus to SkyTrain, this well produced video details

current and new transit technology.

 

OPPORTUNITY IN MOTION

 

Opportunity In Motion shows how British Columbia is a world leader in Transit. It details Transit Plan Highlights with former honourable Premier Campbell announcing a 14-Billion-dollar investment in transportation infrastructure and the future of communities in British Columbia.

 

It presents projected facts and figures of ridership doubling, an annual increase in trips of 20 Million, by 2020. Aerial shots with animated transit routes show the Canada Line, Richmond Line, Millennium Line, Expo Line, and Rapid Bus routes throughout the Province. Implementation of 1600 clean energy buses lead to reduced emissions by public transit.

BRIDGING COMMUNITIES

WILLIAM R. BENNETT BRIDGE

 

An engineering marvel, the William R. Bennett Bridge is 1 of only 8 floating bridges in the world.

 

This video begins with the construction process, including animated time-lapse of the bridge creation, workers proudly describing new engineering technology that led to the bridge being delivered on time and on-budget. The video culminates with the big media event of the bridge opening.

 

 

CANADA'S PACIFIC GATEWAY

 

Produced and shot by AJ Vesak for the BC Ministry of Transportation, this video was such a success, that the Prime Minister and the Premier used it for their trade junket to Asia.

 

We delivered 5 languages: English, Mandarin, Punjabi, Japanese and Korean.

KICKING HORSE PARK BRIDGE

 

Capital Construction Produced and shot by AJ Vesak for the BC Ministry of Transportation, this video features stunning aerial footage of BC's transportation projects. The audience was the engineers and supervisors of the project.
