#BCTECH SUMMIT 2016

 

#BCTECHSummit 2016 is part of BC's technology strategy, and is the first annual event of its kind in the province. The summit showcases BC’s vibrant tech sector, builds opportunities for businesses, and demonstrates how technology affects every British Columbian in every part of the province.

Port of Prince Rupert: Making a Safe Port Even Safer

 

In a port with a reputation as one of the world's most accessible harbours, local marine agencies combine talent and technology to keep ships and cargoes safe. For the experienced members of those agencies, extraordinary responsibility is all in a day's work.

CGA STYLE

 

While accountants are not generally known for their wild side, we put together a music video showing how much fun accountants truly are.

 

Titled “CGA Style”, the video was shot exactly like the original video Gangnam Style, the most viewed video in YouTube history with 1.4 Billion views. The social media launch has been a huge success with over 7000 views in 2 weeks.

TNE VISITS PRINCE RUPERT & KITIMAT

 

TNE recently traveled to Prince Rupert and Kitimat to shoot footage for the BC Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure.

 

Among the footage shot were Aerials of the port city of Prince Rupert and its surrounding areas, interviews with the BC Ministers Todd Stone and Teresa Wat, and the Mayor of Prince Rupert, Jack Mussallem.

 

FRASER INSTITUTE TRIBUTE VIDEO FOR JIM TRELIVING & GEORGE MELVILLE

 

TNE was chosen to produce a special video celebrating Jim Treliving and George Melville of Boston Pizza; their business acumen and philanthropy. This is simply an honest story of two regular guys and their journey of success.

 

It features many well-known people including: Dave Perkins, President & CEO of MolsonCoors, Elio Louongo of KPMG, Bob Nicholson of Hockey Canada, and hockey hall of famer, Pat Quinn.

Shot in all corners of the Province, it features current Premier Clark, Transportation Minister Mary Polak, and numerous Industry Leaders from YVR, Seaspan, CN, CP, Port Authorities of Vancouver and Prince Rupert, BC Road Builders Association, and many others.

 

It was the feature highlight video during the 2012 UBCM meeting.
